How to get started

What you need to get integrating?

1. First, you need a TxtSync account. It’s free to sign up and you only pay for the SMS you send out. Don't worry though, we give you free credit to start with!

2. Generate your TxtSync Client Key and Secret. These are your TxtSync connector credentials so keep them safe.

3. You’ll need a Microsoft account if you don't have one already. Again, you can sign up for free and start using Microsoft without any cost.

Microsoft Flow has all the tools you need to save time while improving customer engagement and retention regardless of the application you’re using. The example below shows how easy it is to set up your first flow.

Select the application you want to hook up

When using Microsoft Flow - select the appropriate trigger that you want to use. For this example, we want to send a text message whenever a support case is raised. So, to start, we will create a trigger whenever a record is added to Dynamics 365.

We set it up to check that on adding new ‘Cases’ to the system it will trigger the flow.

Let's find out who created the support case

To send the text message to the right person, we need to check who raised the case. We do this by getting a single record from Dynamics 365.

Get contact details

Next, we need to perform a query against the contact entity to locate the contact details of the customer that created the Case.

Set TxtSync as an action

Select TxtSync as an action and choose to send out a SMS. At this stage, you’ll also be required to enter your authentication details using the Client Key and Secret that you’ve already created in TxtSync.

And finally...

Enter the details required for sending out the SMS. You’ll be able to get and enter the contacts details from the previous step’s search.

Now that is setup, every time you receive a new support case, it will automatically send the contact a text message to tell them their case will be dealt with shortly. This is perfect for making your customers feel loved when they need it most.
